Lauren Gaydos Duffer grew-up in Arlington, Texas, where she graduated from James Martin High School in 1996. Lauren Gaydos Duffer is the daughter of Larry Gaydos, an attorney at Haynes and Boone, L.L.P., and Joanne Gaydos. Lauren is married to Ronnie Duffer, the owner of In the Swim Pools in Aledo, Texas.

Lauren received her bachelor of arts degree in speech communication from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she graduated cum laude. After graduating from Baylor, Lauren returned to Dallas/Fort Worth and received her law degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Lauren is a member of the Arlington Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers, Baylor University Women's Council, Collaborative Lawyers of Arlington and Mansfield, State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, and Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
